He is also an advisor to Palmear, a precision agriculture company that leverages bioacoustics & AI to perform pest detection in trees. Tariq is an active angel investor in early-stage climate companies and works closely with founders and venture funds across the sector.
Prior to founding Polynate, Tariq held roles at Google, Strategy&, Deloitte and Intel. He holds a degree in Computer Science & Business Studies from Warwick Business School and is currently based in Lisbon, Portugal
Kate is Head of Design at Mattereum a Web3 start up with the purpose to eradicate mistrust from global E-commerce so that nothing ever needs to go to landfill again. Kate is a Design Manager with 13 years of experience in software design. She started out in interactive art playing with electronics and sensors, went into curation of a phygital design talk series at the V&A museum for 4 years. Whilst here she had an 8 years stint as a freelance design consultant across banking and design agencies before spending 3 years working on a creative ad tool that got internally acquired at Facebook now Meta.
Kate is a Design Coach and founder of Reality Prototyping coaching 100âs of designers from the likeâs of Google and Figma.
Marius is a passionate advocate for sustainable design and social responsibility. As the Director of Socially Responsible Recruitment, Marius has led his team to challenge the status quo and make a real difference in the recruitment industry. SR2 has successfully recruited top talent across different tech markets in the UK, Europe, and the US, both on a permanent and contract basis.
