Thomas Essl is the Founder and Managing Director of Mustard Navy, a digital agency focused on product innovation.
His prior role as Head of Design at QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey, saw him launch Design for the Generative AI Lab and McKinsey Catalyst Zero, a product group focused on developing decarbonisation tools for the world's leading organisations.
Thomas's experience includes designing AI tools at Google, an award-winning redesign of the British Airways iOS app, and creating the product for the unicorn med-tech start-up Hinge Health.
In addition to his contributions to D3, Thomas is a visiting lecturer to the Royal College of Art London, and shares his knowledge through his Product Innovation newsletter and on LinkedIn.
